LOCAL puppeteer Lyndis Ann Harden presents her latest show, Sohni Manhiwal, at Bolton's Albert Halls on Saturday.

The story is based on a classic Indian love story and tells the tale of two star crossed lovers, Sohni and Izzat Bheg.

Lyndis, based in Westhoughton, has been a professional puppeteer for 16 years and now has her own company -- Live Puppets -- specialising in glove and soft sculpted puppets. She is well known for her educational projects in schools throughout the North-West, but has performed shows nationwide.

The show starts at 11am on Saturday, July 20 and is suitable for children aged six and over. Tickets cost £5 and £3.50 concession and are available from the box office on 01204 334400.
