A STATE-of-the-art electronic information point to help travellers plan their journeys has been installed at Leigh bus station.
First to try out the screen, which went live yesterday, was Cllr John Hilton, Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority spokesperson for Wigan and Leigh.
The planner is one of 50 touch screen information points being installed as part of a £600,000 scheme at key transport terminals and interchanges throughout the county.
Half will go live in time for the increased demand for public transport which is expected to accompany the Commonwealth Games which start next week.
