ON behalf of everyone at St Catherine's Hospice I would like to pass on our thanks to everyone who has given us their time and support by helping with the recent street and house-to-house collections in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble.

Also thanks to the many people who have put their money in collecting boxes and envelopes for the hospice.

Their help and support has enabled us to raise in the street collection, £781.62 in Preston and £545.95 in Chorley. The house-to-house collection raised £5659.42 in Chorley and £7,022.89 in South Ribble.

We are very grateful to everyone for their support.

Every penny of the money raised will be used to provide hospice care for patients and their families in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble.

We need to raise £1.8 million from voluntary contributions to keep St Catherine's running this year.

We could not do this without the generosity of the communities in which we work.
