BLACKBURN Road Runners Ray Moulding and Eileen Peat scored a repeat victory in the Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon, a two day event which includes an overnight camp.
Finishing 22nd of 71 pairs in the Wansfell class, they won the veteran handicap, a magnificent effort for a pairing with a combined age of 126.
They won the same category two years ago.
Two more Blackburn pairings Lisa Richardson partnered by Christine Hamilton and Lynda Mason with Nancy Noblett were 62nd and 63rd.
