A WOMAN has been re-united with her dog after it disappeared during a car-break in.
Mrs Angela Robb was visiting a friend in Fairfield Hospital when a thief entered her Nissan Micra in the car park and stole her handbag.
Also missing when the Rawtenstall woman returned to her vehicle on Thursday (July 11) was her six-month-old boxer dog, Hunter.
She was all set to offer a reward of up to £1,000 for the return of her pet when she received good news the following day.
A Bury couple had found the dog and were able to trace Mrs Robb. Her handbag has also been recovered.
