BUSINESS Link North Manchester is hosting a series of events in Bury, Bolton and Wigan for firms seeking impartial advice on the potential benefits of using the Internet.
For just £10, plus VAT, companies will be able to get expert help on how to utilise new technology, get their business online, launch their first company website or even how to implement a full e-commerce programme.
And those attending will also be able to enjoy a "byte" of breakfast on arrival.
The first event in the series, "Supplying Electronically" was scheduled to be staged last night (Thurs July 18) in Bolton.
The presentation demonstrated how businesses can save time and money by using e-business tools in developing customer-supplier relationship.
"The business world is moving forward faster than ever before, thanks to the amazing opportunities offered by the Internet," says Roger Mitchell, technical business adviser at Business Link North Manchester.
"The Internet revolution is transforming the way we do business, and has reached further than any other previous technology. Despite this global revolution there is still a huge gap between the opportunities available to small and medium size businesses, and their adoption of this technology and its opportunities."
Further events are to be held throughout the year. These will cover topics such as customer relationship management, sales and marketing on the Internet, legal issues of trading online and advanced Internet marketing
