EX-SHAKERS favourite Wayne Entwistle is on the look-out for Bury players of the past to compete in a charity soccer match against veteran counterparts from Bolton Wanderers.
The match is to be played at Radcliffe Boro's Stainton Park ground on Sunday, August 4 and kick-off is 12 noon.
Local radio station Tower FM are sposoring the event which aims to raise money for the Children's Hospital Trust, Bolton.
"We want it to be a really good day when fans of both clubs get to meet their heroes of yesteryear," said Wayne.
"So far crowd favourites such as Craig Madden and Peter Farrell have said they will turn out and the invitation is open to all former Bury players even if they aren't interested in playing.
"We hope to make it an annual event and next year raise money for a charity in the Bury area."
Anyone interested in attending or who knows the whereabouts of former Bury players who may be interested should contact Wayne on 01204 886633.
