THE second free gig at King George's Hall, Blackburn, aimed at 12-18-year-olds will be held tonight when top local band The Reserved top the bill.
Thoughout the summer, the Shockwave event, will promote a series of Friday night concerts showcasing local talent and also featuring a number of well-known skate-punk bands.
The aim of the event is to give local youngsters the chance of a free nights out over the summer holidays.
The events are open to all ages and admission is free with a Beez card -- Blackburn with Darwen's leisure passport scheme. These cards can be applied for and issued on the night.
Also on the bill this evening are If All Else Fails, Elezium and there will be an alternative DJ.
Other confirmed dates are Friday, August 2 when the line-up includes 4ft Fingers, tRANSELEMENt and The Fat Yanks and Friday, August 9 when Starkey's Walk and Disclosure will be among the bands.
The final gig in the series will be on Friday, August 23 when Nerve will headline supported by Medusa.
