DARWEN DJ Graham Turner is ready to cement his place at the top of the commercial dance scene this weekend with his second Top 20 hit as one of half of Flip & Fill.

After the pair enjoyed top 10 success with True Love Never Dies back in January, music experts are expecting a repeat performance with Shooting Star, which was released on Monday.

The track is the latest in a long line of hits to come out of Blackburn-based All Around The World Records' stable -- and Graham has had a hand in making a whole hatful of hits.

Along with fellow mixer Mark Hall, he has reworked tracks by S Club 7, Rachel Macfarlane and Aurora, as well as doing their own mixes of AATW tracks from the likes of DJ Alligator, Milk Inc and N-Trance.

And their dancey effort -- featuring vocals from up and coming star Karen Parry -- has come in for remixing from others.

Shooting Star has had the treatment from CJ Stone and Stimulant DJs and is going down a storm with clubbers across the North West.

Like True Love Never Dies, Shooting Star began its life in a totally different form. Originally a hardcore anthem, it was released by an outfit called Bang about two years ago.

But, like True Love Never Dies, it is the remix from Flip & Fill which is set to make a big impression in the charts.

For Graham, such success proves he has come a long way since he first set out -- joining the mobile massive on the East Lancashire circuit.

He said: "It is funny when you think about it like that, especially when you see people singing the stuff we have been involved in on Top of The Pops!

"I started DJing when I moved to Darwen with my parents when I was about 17. Back then, I was a mobile DJ playing at social clubs and things, for people's parties, you know the sort of thing. I moved on to clubs and it all went from there."

Graham met Mark, from Manchester, when he asked to borrow some speaker equipment.

Graham said: "We just got our heads together and decided to have a go at something.

"Like the other ones, there has been a lot of demand for the new one and people are hearing it all over the country."

Flip & Fill's album hits the shop shelves later this year.

For AATW, this year just goes from strength to strength.

Matt Cadman, a director of All Around the World, said: "We are delighted with how well the two have done so far but we have a lot more to come this year."
