BONE marrow transplant girl Elizabeth Morris is making good progress on the road to recovery, even though she cannot set foot outside her front door.
The brave girl, aged six, can only watch other youngsters play from behind the window of her home, because she cannot mix with others.
Mother Janet, of Hollow Meadow, Ringley, said she has to be kept in isolation until October following her bone marrow transplant two months ago. But she said Elizabeth was in good spirits and making "wonderful" progress.
"She is doing very well. She's still in isolation until October and we tend to stay in everyday because we can't mix with people.
"But Beth is very happy, although it can be hard watching the children enjoying their school holidays outside."
Elizabeth was finally able to undergo a lifesaving operation after a year-long search to find a bone marrow donor.
Her family has also campaigned tirelessly for others not only to join the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow register but to also give blood.
