MARATHON man Edward Hall went on the run again to raise money for Christie Hospital.
The Walshaw fund-raiser completed the London Marathon in 4 hours 14 minutes to earn £556 for the Withington-based cancer centre.
Edward, an installation manager for Chamberlain Doors Ltd in Blackrod, said: "I've always been a keen runner and doing the marathons for charity lets me do something I enjoy while helping other people."
It was his fourth London Marathon, in addition to completing the Bolton Marathon and the Great North and South runs which raised more than £2,000 for various charities.
He decided to undertake the London run for Christie Hospital as both his mother-in-law and father-in-law are currently being treated for cancer.
Edward, together with fellow marathon runner James Rideout, from Sharples, Bolton, who raised £575 for Christie's, were among 20 people who attended a "Feet of Flame" awards ceremony at the hospital where they were presented with certificates of achievement.
Edward is currently training for the Great South Run, in aid of the charity Leukaemia Direct, and is also waiting to hear whether he has been allocated a place in next year's London Marathon.
