BURY water-skier David Webster finished an impressive fifth when he entered the National Championships in Lincolnshire last weekend.
David was pleased with his finish but can see room for improvement, saying: "I did better than expected with my 'trick' but didn't fulfil my potential when doing the 'slalom'. I had a great weekend and I can't wait to compete again."
To prove he can't wait, the first thing David did when return from the Championships was to sign up to compete at a meeting at Humber Bridge at the end of the month.
Until then, David will be training every day in his quest to be number one.D1537/6a
