SOME weeks ago, a correspondent asked if the company operated by Mr Nev Neville, Tiger Sports, had £1,700 owed to it by Bury Football Club and, if so, why.
I believe that supporters who gave money to help rescue our local club are right to seek an answer to this question.
Over the closed season there have been letters seeking further information about the club. They have been met by total silence by Shakers officials.
Fresh in my memory are the events beginning in March, with the announcement that the club was going into receivership. What followed was a public relations exercise by the club which proved that, when required, they could communicate with supporters in an exemplary manner.
It would now appear that the club have returned to the standard procedure that it employed before, say little and hope for the best! The question I therefore now find myself asking is: "Do Bury Football Club never learn from their mistakes"?
