CHRISTMAS may be a distant thought, but if you want to tuck into a first-class meal and enjoy a theatrical presentation, it's time to start thinking about it.
Rossendale Players will be holding its successful dinner-theatre evenings on November 28, 29 and 30 and places are usually snapped up quickly.
This year the actors will stage Funny Money, a riotous farce by Ray Cooney which tells the tale of Henry, who picks up the wrong briefcase on the tube and finds it stuffed with £50 notes. Dinner-theatre nights started in 1993 and have proved so successful they have been sold out each year and now run over three nights, with many people booking years after year.
A five-course meal will be served before the production and tickets cost £18.
Bookings will be taken from early September.
