TALENTED teenager Heidi Hudson has danced her way to the top of the North West Senior Ballet Championships.
Now, the 14-year-old Tottington High School pupil could become the international ballet champion when she competes next June in Sheffield.
Heidi, who lives on Parkstone Close, Bury, has been dancing since was five.
Her proud mum, Lesley told the Bury Times: "Not only did she come top in the North West but she has been chosen as senior associate from hundreds who auditioned with the Royal Ballet, where she will train with them. She was also, in her younger days, picked as a junior associate."
Mrs Hudson added: "Heidi has been determined to dance even when I didn't want her to.
"She stands a good a chance as anyone to win the championships, which would open many doors for her. As a senior associate she does also stand a chance of performing with the Royal Ballet."
She concluded: "We are looking for sponsors for Heidi. If anyone can help I would be most grateful because it is hard to keep up the costs of ballet which is proving very expensive."
