A Fun Day for the community of Topping Fold and Fairfield will take centre stage later this month.
The tenants and residents assocation has masterminded the event to take place at Broad Oak playing fields on Sunday August 18.
Mayor of Bury, Councillor John Smith, will officially herald the start of the family entertainment which includes face painting, sponge throwing, a bouncy castle, football shootout, wellie throwing, treasure hunt, a balloon artist, and clown.
Crowdpulling attractions are expected to be the tug 'o' war competition and beer keg relay race.
The festival of fun will last from 11am to 4pm and anyone who is able to act as a volunteer helper on the day or make a donation to various stalls, can ring 764-8653 or 705-1218.
