POLICE say they are concerned for the safety of a 14-year-old girl from Burnley who has been missing from home since July 19.
Sarah Louise Watson went missing at 11.15pm when she took a taxi from her home in Leamington Road to go with her cousin to her home in Rosehill Road.
She was expected to continue in the taxi and return home but failed to turn up and was reported missing three days later.
The last reported sighting of was on July 28 at Burnley bus station when she was wearing a navy blue jacket, and three-quarter length dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Det Insp Mark Maxlow said: "We are growing increasingly concerned as Sarah has not been seen for over a fortnight and although she describes herself as streetwise we believe she is vulnerable because of her age."
Sarah is white, 5ft 7ins, slim, with hazel eyes and has light brown, shoulder-length hair.
A dedicated police line has been set up and anyone with information, or Sarah herself, can contact 01282 472143 with any information.
