A GROUP of young people in Bury who have proved themselves to be a credit to their community are to reap their rewards.
The Topping Fold and Fairfield Tenants' and Residents' Association staged a massive clean-up day on their own doorstep, which involved about 30 young volunteers aged from six to 15.
The group of youngsters has linked up with the Neighbourhood Wardens in East Bury to help out with community-based tasks.
Now the specially commissioned "Junior Wardens" will be taken on a day out to the Burrs Activity Centre tomorrow, where they will take part in a range of activities including canoeing, orienteering and abseiling.
