YOBS as young as 10 are believed to have launched a terrifying fire bomb attack on a Radcliffe family, police said today.
Three children set light to the front door of the house in Larch Avenue, Radcliffe, and ran away, leaving a 29-year-old woman and her three young children inside.
It is thought the woman dialled 999 on her mobile phone before fire crews arrived to free her and douse the flames.
No one was hurt. Police have confirmed they are treating the attack at 11.15pm on Monday as arson.
Anyone with information should call Whitefield CID on 0161 856 8240, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
