Clarets striker Gareth Taylor has retained his place in Mark Hughes' Wales squad.
Last season's 16-goal top scorer has been named in the party that will take on Croatia in Barazdin next Wednesday.
The striker forced his way back into the international set-up on the back of impressive displays last season and he was involved in the friendlies against the Czech Republic and Germany in the spring.
Meanwhile the Clarets played a behind closed doors friendly with Everton yesterday as they attempted to blow away the cobwebs from the opening day debacle against Brighton.
Deprived of a midweek game because of Ipswich Town's involvement in the UEFA Cup, Ternent explained: "I wanted the players to have another 90 minutes run-out and Everton boss David Moyes was able to accommodate me."
The game was part of the preparations for the weekend clash with Wolves at Molineux when Ternent will be relieved to have Alan Moore available again after suspension.
The struggle to fill the left side of midfield was a major factor in the match against Brighton with Robbie Blake, Ian Moore and Glen Little all taking their turn.
Burnley's best football of last season came with Moore filling the left flank and Little on the opposite wing and Ternent can return to that formula on Saturday.
"Providing he is fit Alan Moore is available and that will obviously help the balance of the team," said Ternent.
Meanwhile the Clarets boss has now turned to the police in the hope of finding out whether Arthur Gnohere is a guilty man.
Having tracked down the Sky coverage of the game it has emerged that they also missed the incident involving the French defender and Brighton striker Gary Hart.
"I have had the referee's (Tony Bates) report and he is saying that Arthur deliberately head-butted the player," explained Ternent.
"But Arthur remains adamant that he didn't do it and so I am trying to sort something out with the police.
"They have cameras at the game and I will see whether they can show it one way or another.
"I have to say it would be very unlike Arthur as he has never acted that way in the past, I would not say it was in his nature.
"But as it stands at the moment he is going to be banned for three matches starting against Sheffield United at Turf Moor a week on Saturday."
With speculation over players continuing the Clarets boss echoed his chairman's comments yesterday when he confirmed that there had been no contact with Portsmouth about either Dean West or Glen Little.
"I would not be surprised if people were looking at Dean because he is on a monthly contract with us," he said.
"But we have not had anyone come in for him at the moment and I don't want him to go."
