AN approach is to be made to the North West Development Agency to look to fund a new site for Rossendale's direct labour and services organisations.
Already the NWDA is looking to try to fund a new site for the council's workers, who are currently based at the Robert Street depot.
At the development and environmental services committee it was recommended a new site for all the direct labour and service operatives be sought.
Concern was expressed that people were attending the Henrietta Street depot in Bacup to complain and voice concern about refuse collection and other issues, when the site was not suitable for the public.
It was agreed to put a notice up advising the public to voice concerns by contacting the council by telephone.
