REGARDING the future of Lancashire's special schools (LET, August 8), I am the parent of a child with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and was due to start secondary school yesterday.
I have been told that he could go to the school allocated to him, which is fine, but I don't think it could cope with him and I know that he will not be able to copel.
It took him all his time to cope with junior school. Now I read that Lancashire County Council are after closing special needs schools. They are closing old people's homes, which I think is disgusting.
What next? The libraries or something like that? I've had enough with it all.
