CONSISTENCY is the first target for Darwen boss Steve Wilkes this season as he hopes to see his side push for promotion.
"I hope to get out of the division but we have to be more consistent," he explained. "We were third or fourth with 11 games to go and then only won once in the last ten.
"We scored a lot of goals but also let in a lot and we have got to tighten up at the back."
"I have got a few new lads in and I am looking to give some young players a chance, lads like Phil Docker and Colin Entwistle."
