CATCHING a few hours' sleep in an airport is not the luxurious experience one might have thought it to be.
And that's the reason behind the creation of the website SleepingInAirports.com which offers useful tips for those who might have to catch some shut-eye while waiting to board a plane.
The site uses a simple icon-based system to rank airports, from a skull and crossbones for the worst, to a smiling face for the best.
Another useful feature is the comments from past and present employees of the airports who give sleepers the inside track on resting their tired heads.
Manchester gets a couple of smiling faces, plus a couple of so-so reviews, while a past worker recommends part of Terminal 2 as best for several hours' undisturbed shut-eye.
