EAST Lancashire diners have voted football fan and chat show host Frank Skinner their favourite dinner guest in an on-line survey conducted by the Hi-Life Diners' Club.
Hundreds of club members across the UK took part in the survey and voted the host of Fantasy Football their top dining companion. But former Tory leader William Hague didn't fare as well -- he was voted least favourite dinner guest, polling 64 percent of the votes cast in that category.
The Lancashire-based diners' club has more than 60,000 members who pay an annual subscription fee of £40 to access hundreds of top restaurants in the North West, including Campions in Samlesbury, the Spread Eagle at Sawley and the Shajan Indian restaurant at Clayton-le-Dale, where they can enjoy two meals for the price of one.
