A LORRY overturned and shed 20 tonnes of sheet metal into one of East Lancashire's busiest roads.
Junction 5 of the M65 was closed for two hours after the rented 38-tonne articulated lorry overturned in Grane Road, Guide, at 8pm yesterday.
The driver escaped with minor injuries.
Emergency crews were called and worked for two hours to clear the road, but the access road to the motorway was blocked.
A police accident probe has been launched to find out what caused the accident.
