A PENSIONER was forced back into her home and threatened after answering the door to a young couple.
The 81-year-old woman was pushed by the male caller, who had a female accomplice, after knocking at the house in Tewkesbury Drive, Prestwich at 2.30pm on Thursday (Aug 8).
Once inside the house the offenders threatened the woman with further violence before they searched the property and fled with a small amount of cash.
The victim was not physically injured but was left in a very distressed state.
Police would now like to speak to anyone in the Tewkesbury Drive area at the time of the robbery.
The man is described as white, aged in his mid-20s, 5ft 6ins, of medium build with short dark hair. He was wearing a blue jacket and a white sweater.
His female accomplice is also white, aged about 19, slim with long hair. She wore a blue mini skirt and a white top.
