OUT In The Sticks, Todmorden, is celebrating its eighth birthday this month, and is promising an even greater dose of what its regulars enjoy to celebrate.
Promoters Russ and Craig, who have turned the Blue Note venue in the little hill town into the must attend place every Saturday night for US house, go all retro on August 31 when they host a one-off Out of the Vaults classic night.
Emphasising their love for US House, garage and disco, the night will bring out the classics which have moved the place over the last eight years.
Admission is £8 with both Russ and Craig doing stints on the decks, along with Sam Holt.
That's the second part of the birthday celebration. For the first part, check the place out next Saturday night when they bring Full Intention to town.
Jon Pearn and Mike Gray, who make up Full Intention, are expected to bring the house down. They are one of the most in-demand re-mix and production teams around at the
moment.
Their remix roster has included mixes for MAW "To Be In Love", Frankie Knuckles "Tears", Da Mob "It's All Good", Powerhouse "What You Need" along with their own recent releases on Subliminal and Electric Funk.
Doors open at 9pm, with a licence until 3am and tickets a snatch at £12.For more information, check out www.out-in-the-sticks.com.
