WALES manager Mark Hughes will be interested to see how two of his strikers fair when they clash at Molineux tomorrow afternoon.
Wolves' Nathan Blake and Burnley's Gareth Taylor are both in the Wales squad that will take on Croatia on Wednesday night.
But it is league points and not international duty that will be their main priority as they both look to net their first goals of the season.
Blake moved to Wolves from Blackburn Rovers 11 months ago for £1.5million and played a big part in getting them into pole position to reach the Premiership.
He is a year older than the Clarets star but has more caps to his name and also a few goals for his country. But Taylor is keen to get a chance in the side and show what he can do.
Both men like to lead the line and have found the net throughout their career with Taylor's haul of 16 goals last season a career best.
With Craig Bellamy missing from the squad there is likely to be a chance to get some action and a goal or two the weekend before a game would be the perfect way to give the manager a nudge.
