A SUPPORT group has gone bingo mad thanks to a kind-hearted brewery.
Members of Darwen Stroke Club, based at Union Street health centre, received a modern electronic bingo machine from the Daniel Thwaites Charitable Trust.
Joan Halse, a trust committee member, officially handed over the machine before a 'full house' of group members.
Ian Ashton, organiser of the Stroke Club, said they were "absolutely delighted" with the gift.
"We have had to borrow machines in the past, old fashioned ones at that, so to finally have our own hi-tech version is great," he said.
"The main benefit of the machine is its ease of use."
