BURGLARS face a hard time in the Tyldesley area where police are ensuring the community gets the best advice on home security, crime reduction and home watch schemes.
Area officers PCs Andy Wright, Vicky Handley and Damian Noblett will be at various locations from Wednesday, August 21-Sunday, August 25 in a mobile police unit and will be offering valuable tips to locals.
Dates and locations are: (all 3pm-7pm) Wednesday, Gilda Road, Mosley Common; Tuesday, Victoria Lawns; Friday, Cherington Drive, Tyldesley; Saturday, Wellington Drive, Tyldesley and Sunday, Clifton Avenue, Astley.
