STAFF at Blackburn Cathedral had to barricade themselves in to avoid the attentions of a drunken woman, a court was told.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Michelle Walker was banging on the windows and doors, shouting and swearing, on Thursday afternoon and eventually had to be arrested.
Walker, 34, of Elm Street, Blackburn, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in £50 to keep the peace for six months.
Basharat Ditta, defending, said Walker had spent nearly 24 hours in custody following the incident.
"She has had time to reflect on her behaviour which was in drink," said Mr Ditta.
