PEOPLE in Fence will volunteer to throw themselves off the top of a 20-ft crane tomorrow, for charity.
Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle will host its annual summer fair with a bungee jump challenge, between 10am and 3pm, at the Forest Inn, in Cuckstool Lane.
It follows the success of a simliar event held at Barden Mill stores last year, which raised more than £3,000 for the hospice.
Those taking part in the jump, from noon, can do so for free by raising £75 in sponsorship or paying £40 on the day.
There will also be stalls selling cakes and home produce, a tombola, a children's games and car boot sale.
To book a pitch, for £5, contact the fundraising office on 01282 440100, or turn up from 8.30am.
