BUSINESS is booming in Ramsbottom for Bury-based Kings Business Transfer. The company has been involved in nine sales in the town in just over 12 months.
Everything from a chip shop to a pub has changed hands as the town becomes a hot spot for new investment.
Kings partner Chris Rowlands said: "Ramsbottom is becoming an excellent location for us. We have completed the sales of three different businesses in the last month and another one is in the pipeline.
"Ramsbottom has always been an attractive place to live and the East Lancashire Railway brings plenty of visitors to the heart of the shopping centre. So whenever we get a business on our books, we know there will always be lots of interest."
The latest success for the Kings team was the sale of the Entwistle Fruit and Vegetable shop on Bolton Road.
Two days earlier the sale of Bridge Savers a discount store on Bridge Street went through, while last month the company handled the sale of Billington's a long established sandwich bar.
