BURNLEY Pendle and Rossendale Primary Care Trust has appointed local volunteers Mohammed Javed Khan and Raymond Tunnicliffe as new associate members.
The new members will be invited to serve on various committees and panels and serve as quasi-non executive members.
Mr Khan, 33, is a Lancashire County Council education information officer who was brought up in the Whitefield area of Pendle.
Mr Tunnicliffe, 56, lives in Helmshore, Rossendale. He is a retired IT director who spent most of his working life within the NHS.
In welcoming the two men, Jim Heyes, chairman of the PCT, said: "We are delighted to invite Mr Khan and Mr Tunnicliffe to join the board.
"They bring with them particular skills and experience that will be of considerable benefit to the work of the Trust in improving the health of the local community."
