FAMILIES living near the proposed site of a 28-acre golf course can question the developer at a public meeting.
Councillors of Tockholes and Feniscowles have staged the event for Sussex-based Blackburn Golf Developments to explain plans for land in Brokenstones Road, Blackburn.
Many residents are concerned that the £5 million scheme would ruin countryside between Livesey and Tockholes.
A planning officer from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and an official from Blackburn Golf Developments will be present.
Coun John Williams said: "We have waited until now to call this meeting so that all proposals are known, but before they have been submitted to any planning committee. This will give everyone the opportunity to be involved in the discussion."
It takes place on Monday, September 2, at 7pm in Feniscowles Primary School.
