A PREGNANT mother was taken to Burnley General Hospital after the car she was driving hit by another vehicle.
Michelle Stanley, 31, of Blackpool was a passenger along with her eight year-old daughter Samantha, in a Vauxhall Cavalier driven by Mohammed Rauf, 24, of Regent Street, Nelson.
Mr Rauf was treated for whiplash.
Their car was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa driven by Jane Cotter, 79, of Nairn Street, Burnley in Manchester Road on Sunday evening.
Mrs Cotter was treated at Burnley General Hospital for pelvis and leg injuries, which were not serious. A passenger, Marion Frost, 67, also of Nairn Street, received treatment for a swollen ankle.
Police say they are not treating the accident as suspicious.
