A FATHER and son have denied charges over the death of a Padiham teenager.
Christopher Britcliffe, 21, of John Street, Clayton-le-Moors, pleaded not guilty to murdering Gavin Tattersall, 18, on March 26 this year.
His father, Ian, 42, of the same address, denied manslaughter, when the men appeared at Preston Crown Court yesterday.
Gavin, of Cambridge Drive, Padiham, died after an alleged incident at Churchills nightspot in Accrington.
Kenneth Halstead, 42, of South View, Haslingden, denied assaulting a man called Kevin Coates in connection with the same incident.
The men were remanded on bail for trial on January 14.
