THE Bay Horse Inn in Worsthorne has a new landlady and although this is the first time her name is above the door she has plenty of experience.
Vicky Hannah, 23, has previously worked at a number of pubs including the Bay Horse and she knows the regulars - she was one herself.
Vicky took over as landlady on May 15 after working as an assistant accountant for a computer firm.
The former employee at Time Computers in Simonstone said her parents put up the money for the pub.
She said: "I just fancied a change. It was handed to me on a plate really.
"It was an offer I couldn't refuse."
The former Worsthorne High School pupil will run the pub with her partner Craig Marsden. They met while working at the Fighting Cocks, in Cliviger, six years ago.
Vicky will run the bar and Craig, 25, will prepare the food.
Craig is currently doing the odd day as chef at the Thatch and Thistle, on Surrey Road, Nelson, while the kitchen is finished and the menu is finalised.
The menu will offer traditional pub food.
