AN EAST Lancashire pub restaurant is on the lookout for a child with the same surname as its cuddly mascot.
The Gamecock, of Whalley Road, Great Harwood, is seeking a youngster aged from three to eight who has the surname Brewster.
The winner will get a free party for him or her and seven friends at the nearest Brewsters restaurant.
They be treated like a VIP for the day by Brewster the Bear and be one of the first to experience a new birthday party package.
Manager Stuart Crolla said: "It's not a common surname but we're hoping we'll track down someone who can join our cuddly mascot for a really good party.
"It doesn't have to be the child's birthday, it's just a good excuse to have a good time. We're also offering a free meal to the child's parents." For a chance to win entrants must call 0161 2349778 and leave a brief message stating their full name, age and contact number.
The closing date is this Friday and all entrants will be asked to provide proof of identity.
The winner will be notified a week tomorrow and invited to their nearest Brewsters restaurant at the beginning of September.
