ST Mary's Catholic High School is again celebrating outstanding success in its A-level results.
Sixth form students who took A-levels at the Astley school achieved a 91 per cent over all pass rate. Of these 63 per cent were grades A, B or C. Ten St Mary's students were among the best nationally, gaining three As.
Vocational courses also produced impressive results, with 100 per cent pass rate in both Health and Social Care and Business.
Year 12 students studying AS-levels achieved an overall pass rate of 88 per cent.
Headteacher, David Burnett, said: "These outstanding results are a testimony to not only the hard work of the students and to the support of their parents but also to the quality of teaching and learning provided by the staff at St Mary's.
"I am delighted that everyone's efforts have led to so much success."
