DETECTIVES are hunting a man who attacked three women in Bury.
In all incidents, the victims described the offender as Asian, approximately 20-years-old, about 5ft 9 ins tall, with stubble on his chin. He was wearing dark clothing.
The offender struck twice on Thursday (Aug 15).
At 9am he targeted a 66-year-old woman who was walking in Barratt Court, off Rochdale Road.
He grabbed the woman by the hair and knocked her to the ground before stealing her handbag.
Then, at 6pm, a 20-year-old woman was punched in the face and robbed of her mobile phone in Devon Street, Bury.
The first robbery had happened at 1pm last Monday (Aug 12) when a 16-year-old girl was punched in the face in Angouleme Way.
The teenager was forced to let go of her £160 mobile phone despite putting up a struggle.
PC John Flowers said: "In all three cases, the victims gave almost identical descriptions of the attacker."
