BACUP scored four for the second time in two games as they raced to the top of the NWCL second division.
Brent Peter's side started off where they finished at the weekend, causing Oldham all sorts of problems.
They didn't take the lead, though, until the 43rd minute when Ian McClelland headed home an Alex Binney free kick, won when Bacup's Martin Peters was fouled on the left.
Bacup forward Karl Stanley was causing Oldham all sorts of problems and his brother Paul could have had a hat-trick after coming on as a sub but Oldham held out until the 80th minute when Micky Bartholomew chipped the keeper direct from a McClelland long ball.
A minute later it was all over when Nicky Taylor put Bartholomew through and he squared for Paul Fildes to score his first of the season.
And two minutes later it was four when Fildes scored again.
Oldham got a consolation late on when a cross somehow dipped over Tommy Allen in goal, hit the far post and bounced in.
The win takes Bacup to the top of the table after two wins in two games, four goals scored and just one conceded "and that was lucky," said Peters
