LEIGH East collected their second trophy in as many weeks by beating hosts Wigan St Pat's in the final of the Graeme West Sevens on Sunday.
East made a slow start, losing 20-18 to St Pat's B and drawing 16-16 with Pat's U18s, only making it through to the semis by the skin of their teeth.
But once they had grasped the technicalities of the game no other side in the tournament could match then for pace.
East thrashed St Pat's A 26-0 in the semi-final and beat Pat's B 20-6 in the final.
Darren Hall finished as the competition's top scorer with six. John Woods weighed in with three, Mick Redford and Phil Marsden two each and Leigh Rowley, Simon Warhurst, Danny Kilshaw and Martin Meadows one each. Kilshaw kicked seven goals and Warhurst two.
East begin their National Conference Premier Division campaign at Castleford Lock Lane on Saturday.
