THE dark green tin with the lion and the bees has finally made way for a new, easy-squeezy container to prevent sticky fingers and welded-up lids.
Lyle's Golden Syrup, a favourite for decades, will be available from next month in a squeezy bottle (price 99p).
Its new convenient container will make it much more versatile -- ideal for squeezing over bread or toast or added to yogurt as an after-school snack for hungry youngsters and delicious as a topping for ice cream, sponges, porridge or pancakes.
