AWARD-winning North West supermarket Booths is taking a range of regional treats to the Southport Flower Show which starts today.
Visitors to the show will be able to taste some of the region's finest cheeses, including Ribblesdale's goats' cheese and Cheddar with caramelised onions.
Also on sale will be a variety of Booths' freshly roasted coffee blends, including Australian Skyberry, Finest and Best and Monsoon Malabar.
Meanwhile Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses, based at Inglewhite, near Preston, scooped a series of awards at the Nantwich International Cheese Show.
The company says it has further cause to celebrate as market research shows consumers are beginning to buy more regional British cheeses rather than part with their money for continental varieties.
