CLAYTON Harriers are holding the Club 5,000m and the Annual General Meeting tonight.
The race at Seedhill Track is at 7pm and entry is free to all members. The AGM will be afterwards at Nelson Cricket Club from 8pm.
The Mid Lancs Track and Field League will be bringing the curtain down on the season with their Annual Medal Meeting at Wigan on Saturday. Start time is 11.30am.
The Chipping Show Fell Race is free to enter - just pay the Show Ground entry fee and bring your own safety pins.
It takes place on Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm. The race, organised by Preston Harriers, is seven miles long and includes 1900 feet of climb.
Sunday's Horwich triathlon has been fully subscribed for three weeks now and there is a long reserve list.
For the benefit of pre-entries, it starts at 8am at Horwich Leisure Centre.
The Hyndburn Open Meeting is on Bank Holiday Monday starting at noon at Wilson Playing Fields. The closing day for postal entries is today.

The Jeff Norman Brown Wardle Hill Race is at 6pm on Bank Holiday Monday from the Oxford Public House, Whitworth Road, Rochdale.
Covering a five mile course with 1,200 feet of climbing, organiser Andy O'Sullivan describes it as one of the most scenic and testing courses around.
The Wheatsheaf Hotel in Littleborough is the Race HQ for the Littleborough and District Lions Club 5K Fun Run.
It takes place on Tuesday evening at 7pm and will raise funds for local charities.
The final Horwich Jubilee 4M Race of the summer is on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm. Registration is at Rivington Hall Barn.

Radcliffe AC is hosting a 5K Trail Race next Thursday, 29 August.
Start is at 7.15pm from the Mason Arms, Sion Street, Radcliffe (near the Asda Superstore).
The race is over a virtually traffic free course on tarmac and sound paths, and the money raised will go to St Anne's Hospice.
Arrive changed if possible as the facilites are limited.
