CONDUCTORS of Arriva Trains Northern will heap strike misery on customers for the 16th time this year on Saturday.
The TransPennine Express through Preston, Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley, is again scheduled to be cancelled.
But Arriva Trains Northern bosses are hoping that a large percentage of the Arriva Trains Northern's 672 conductors cross the picket line and maintain some services.
During July's strikes, around 10 per cent of conductors went to work.
Arriva PLC's managing director Euan Cameron said earlier this week that this was perhaps the only way to end the dispute.
Negotiations over eight months are still deadlocked with the RMT Union demanding a 10 per cent rise for its members, and Arriva offering four per cent.
