TEN soccer teams battled it out in a seven-a-side football competition organised by the Asian Development Association Bury (ADAB).
The East Bury seven-a-side tournament, which was sponsored by Autoshop Bury, was staged at the town's Goshen Sports Centre with trophies awarded to the winners and runner-up. A fair play award was also made.
Victoria FC triumphed by winning the competition while Uddin FC took the runner-up spot. The fair play award went to Gullys Avengers.
ADAB were delighted with the success of the tournament. They paid tribute to the sponsor, stressing that without their funding the competition could not have gone ahead.
