FLOODLIT cricket is coming to Leyland in a special week-long festival.
The festival, at Fox Lane, will include matches against a top Asian touring side and a tournament featuring four teams from the Northern Premier League.
The pioneering experiment starts on Sunday at 6pm with a match between an Indian touring side, Darling CC, featuring several former internationals, and an Asian Select XI made up of players from the league.
A special mini-tournament starts on Tuesday when Leyland play Leyland Motors starting at 4pm with St Annes playing Preston the following day starting at 4pm. The final will be played on Friday.
The festival ends on Sunday, September1 with a match between Draling CC and a Northern League Select XI.
